<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water stream power generating system favorable in maintainability without needing oil lubrication while improving durability. <P>SOLUTION: The water stream power generating system 1 is provided with a rotor 7 equipped with a ringlike stator 6 provided with a coil 26, a permanent magnet 31 which applies magnetic energy to the coil 26, a rotor body 32 which is arranged at the inner periphery side of a stator core 25 and supports the permanent magnet 31, a blade support unit 33 installed at the front side of the rotor body 32, and rotating blades 8 projected outward in a radial direction from the blade support unit 33, and water-lubricated bearings 39, 40 installed on the ringlike stator 6 in a way that they support loads in a thrust direction and a radial direction opposing the rotor body 32.
