<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a classification method, a classification system, an analysis device and a program for a golf swing, allowing accurate classification of the golf swing. <P>SOLUTION: This classification method for classifying the golf swing when a golfer hits a golf ball by a golf club includes steps of: segmenting the golf swing of the golfer into golf swing trajectories of a back swing, a down swing, and a follow-through, and allocating two trajectories to two-dimensional coordinates where the vertical axis and the horizontal axis are set with a fixed point on the trajectories as the origin about any two trajectories of them; determining straight lines each connecting one point selected on each of the two trajectories and the origin; calculating angles between the determined straight lines and the horizontal axis about the two trajectories; and classifying the golf swing based on a difference between the calculated angles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
