<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a range of a detection phase difference between two signals, and to achieve continuous phase difference output characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A phase difference detection circuit comprises a phase difference detection unit (24), detects a phase difference DP between two signals (signal inputs In1 and In2), shifts the detected phase difference by an offset value, and outputs the resultant detected phase difference. The offset value is controlled so that the outputted detected phase difference falls within a phase difference range from a predetermined lower limit value (P<SB POS="POST">L</SB>) to a predetermined upper limit value (P<SB POS="POST">H</SB>). Shifting of the detected phase difference by the offset value is performed by adding or subtracting the offset value to or from the detected phase difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
