PURPOSE: An automatic telephone number forwarding system is provided to improve the convenience of a user by enabling a user to receive local calls in abroad. CONSTITUTION: A user of a local phone communicates with a database server(20) of a legacy telecommunication intelligent network in order to forward voice of a portable terminal through a local PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network). An ARS(Automated Response System) switchboard(30) of the legacy telecommunication intelligent network is communicated with an international switchboard(40) of the legacy communication company international telecommunication network in order to connect a lease phone with an abroad phone through an oversea mobile telecommunication service provider switchboard(50).
