<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for diagnosing deterioration of a catalyst that can satisfactorily diagnose deterioration of the catalyst regardless of implementation of EGR. <P>SOLUTION: The device can properly diagnose whether or not the catalyst is deteriorated regardless of a change of oxygen storage capacity depending on whether or not EGR is implemented by using different deterioration determination values when EGR is implemented and is not implemented, such that a Cmax by which the catalyst deterioration is diagnosed to be present when EGR is not implemented is higher than the Cmax by which the catalyst deterioration is diagnosed to be present when EGR is implemented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
