<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage and a refrigerator capable of improving accuracy in detecting a wireless tag by wholly covering the inside of a metallic housing as a wireless tag readable region. <P>SOLUTION: The storage in which articles with the wireless tags are stored includes: an antenna 52 radiating an electric wave into a storage body 1 and wirelessly communicating with the wireless tag 200; a reader/writer 51 reading wireless tag information stored in the wireless tags 200 from the antenna 52; an electric wave strength changing means 53 wholly covering the inside of a storage body 1 as the readable region of the wireless tags 200 by changing electric wave strength in the storage body 1; and a control means 54 for processing the wireless tag information from the wireless tag 200 in the storage body 1.
