<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically update a position of a base station necessary for position calculation of wireless terminals. <P>SOLUTION: In a position detection system, a plurality of observation stations 21 are provided for receiving each radio wave transmitted from each of base stations 61 to measure reception electric filed strength for each radio wave, and also for detecting a station ID of a transmission source base station included in the radio wave, and a base station management device 34 calculates a coordinate position of each base station 61 based on the reception electric field strength and the station ID which are acquired by each of the observation stations 21 and a coordinate position of each of the observation stations 21 acquired from observation station information stored in an observation station storage device 33, and stores the acquired coordinate position of the base station 61 in association with the corresponding station ID of the base station 61 as base station information in a base station storage device 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
