PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor assembly with an emitter to emit an increased amount of electromagnetic energy to electromagnetic fields.

SOLUTION: A microwave emitter 206 includes a first arm 310 that extends radially outward from an emitter body 300. The first arm 310 is at least partially nonlinear and includes at least one peak 334 and at least one trough 336. The microwave emitter 206 also includes a second arm 312 that extends radially outward from the emitter body 300. The second arm 312 includes at least one peak 334 and at least one trough 336. The first arm 310 and the second arm 312 generate an electromagnetic field when at least one microwave signal is received.
