<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticancer agent which has no toxicity to normal cells, and further, has a high cytostatic effect to cancer cells by combining a plurality of withanolide compounds in a specified ratio. <P>SOLUTION: The (WiNA-21) anticancer agent contains, in withanolide compounds, withanone and withaferin A at a proportion of 2:1 (weight ratio) as active ingredients.
