The tool has a detection unit (10a) for detecting contact at a workpiece and comprising a sensor (14a) e.g. field sensor, capacitive sensor, inductive sensor, pressure sensor and contactless sensor. Part of the sensor is arranged on a printed circuit board (30a). A magazine (16a) is pivoted by a joint (20a), and the sensor is arranged on a side of the tool, where the side is turned towards the joint. The magazine is connected with a housing of the tool by a tacker projection unit (18a). A housing wall of the tool is provided between the magazine or the projection unit and the sensor.
