An odour-eliminating and sterilizing device comprises: a first lamp for shining ultraviolet light in a first wavelength region in which odour elimination occurs and ozone is created; and a second lamp for shining ultraviolet light in a second wavelength region able to remove the ozone created by the first lamp. The first lamp comprises a glass tube which passes the ultraviolet light in the first wavelength region, while the second lamp comprises a glass tube which passes the ultraviolet light in the second wavelength region.
