PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic resin composition in which thick painting coating is possible, and which is used for manufacturing a solvent based acrylic adhesive of an active energy ray thermosetting type which can obtain an adhesive layer having a beautiful surface of a coating film.

SOLUTION: The acrylic resin composition includes: an acrylic resin (A); an organic solvent (B); and an ethylenically unsaturated compound (C) containing one ethylenically unsaturated group, wherein a content ratio (weight ratio) of the acrylic resin (A) to the ethylenically unsaturated compound (C) containing one ethylenically unsaturated group is such that (A):(C)=10:90-75:25, when a flash point (°C) of the organic solvent (B) is Bf.p.and a flash point (°C) of the ethylenically unsaturated compound (C) containing one ethylenically unsaturated group is Cf.p., Cf.p.is higher than Bf.p., and a difference of Cf.p.with Bf.p.is at least 50 °C.
