<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect communication failure due to attachment of refuse such as metal scrap and dust to a communication line. <P>SOLUTION: In a communication line inspection method, by using a plurality of combinations of amplitude voltages and frequencies of communication signals, a communication line is tested.
