<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve picture quality of an image sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A solid-state image sensor of one embodiment includes: an AD conversion circuit which applies a signal process to a signal voltage and a reference voltage from a plurality of pixels, to output a digital value of the differential value between the reference voltage and the signal voltage; and a reference voltage generating circuit which outputs a reference voltage VREF of predetermined pulse waveforms Vrp1 and Vrp2 to the AD conversion circuit. The reference voltage generating circuit, during a first signal process for comparing the reference voltage VREF with the reference voltage VRST, supplies a first current from a current source circuit and generates the pulse waveform Vrp1. After the first signal process, it outputs a pulse waveform Vrp3 during a second signal process in which a second current is supplied from the current source circuit to an integration circuit, resets a voltage value of the reference voltage VREF to an initial voltage, and compares the reference voltage VREF with the signal voltage VSIG. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
