Provided is a masker sound output device with which interference or echoes are avoided even when the same masker sound is outputted with a plurality of devices. A masker sound generation unit (11) repeatedly plays a disruptive sound, a background sound, and a staged sound at respectively prescribed intervals. A start-over play is carried out for the disruptive sound and the background sound at a prescribed timing prior to the playing of the entire prescribed intervals of each audio data. The timing of the start-over play differs between devices. The staged sound is inserted in intervals with no sound and the play timing thereof adjusted without a start-over being carried out partway through, unlike the disruptive sound or the background sound. In particular, the staged sound randomly changes the intervals with no sound, preventing listeners from having a sense of repetition. |
