The rod (1) has a coating with a ferrite ring (3), and thick segments for positioning the ferrite ring, where the rod is partially surrounded with a ferrite-containing material i.e. shrinkable ferrite tube. The ring is fixedly connected with the rod by an adhesive connection and/or a screw connection. The ferrite ring is made of a coiled band, which comprises a layer consisting of magnetized ion, and another layer consisting of oxide or nitride or isolating magnesium oxide. The ferrite-containing material has high impedance over a frequency range to be operated with an antenna system (2).
