<p>Disclosed is a highly insulative small vacuum arc-quenching chamber. A stationary conductive rod (2) and a moving conductive rod (6) are respectively arranged on the two opposite ends of a housing (7) of the arc-quenching chamber, contact heads (4) are arranged at the inner ends of the stationary conductive rod (2) and the moving conductive rod (6) respectively, shielding casings (5), which are curved inward, are arranged on the sides of the two contact heads (4), and the contact surfaces between the shielding casings (5) and the contact heads (4) are concave surfaces; a shielding bush (3), with the two ends thereof curved inward, is arranged on the back of the two contact heads (4), and a voltage-balance casing (1), with the end thereof curved inward, is arranged on the back of the stationary conductive rod (2). The shielding casings (5) play a crucial role in improving the electric field of the contact heads (4). The shielding casings (5) enclose the sides and the bottom of the contact heads (4) therein, which greatly reduces the electric field intensity on the edge of the contact heads, so as to enable a significant reduction in the electric field intensity of the strongest point in the arc-quenching chamber, improve remarkably the insulation of the arc-quenching chamber, and avoid wide-ranging damage among the components at the same time.</p> |
