<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier which can prevent occurrence of bad odor even in a long term use or the like by suppressing the propagation of fungus or various germs in a humidifying part. <P>SOLUTION: During a humidifying operation, the amount of water supplied to a humidification part pan by a water supply means is made larger than the amount of water discharged from a drain hole provided to the humidification part pan to form a fixed water level surface in the humidification part pan and after the humidifying operation is stopped, the water supply means is stopped and a blowing means is operated for a predetermined time to dry the humidifying part. Accordingly, the propagation of the fungus or various germs in the humidification part is suppressed to prevent the occurrence of the bad odor also in the long term use or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
