<p>A pressure controller for an ink cartridge is detachably mounted in the ink cartridge (1), and comprises a covering member and a chamber member (8), which forms a sealed chamber together with the covering member and includes a valve mechanism for regulating the pressure in the sealed chamber. The valve mechanism comprises: a valve chamber (83); an ink inlet (81) for introducing ink into the valve mechanism; an ink outlet (82) for leading ink out of the valve mechanism; a valve seat (84) having at least one valve hole (841); and a valve core (85) closing or leaving the valve hole selectively according to the pressure variation on two sides thereof. The ink outlet is located at a position where a highest point of the valve chamber in a gravity direction during use of the pressure controller for the ink cartridge lies. It is a certain thing that ink will not flow out until the whole valve mechanism is filled up with ink. Thus, a gap between the valve core and the valve seat due to a manufacture error can be sealed by a surface tension of liquid, making two sides of the valve core not to be communicated with each other and generating a pressure difference between them. That is to say, a stable control on an internal pressure of the ink cartridge can be ensured, and a leakage of ink can be prevented from being occurred.</p> |
