摘要 PURPOSE: A method for improving fuel efficiency and performance of a two-stage turbo system of an engine is provided to minimize frictional losses of the engine by increasing opening degrees of an EGR(Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve and waste valve. CONSTITUTION: A method for improving fuel efficiency and performance of a two-stage turbo system of an engine is as follows. If a vehicle is driven on a downhill road, an incline of the road is measured through a tilt sensor(S1). Whether the measured incline is bigger than a first reference incline or not is determined. Whether an accelerator and brake pedal is in an off-state without being stepped or not is determined(S2). If the accelerator and brake pedal is in no-load state, opening degrees of an EGR valve and waste gate valve are increased(S5).
