PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of suppressing the occurrence of a crack in a circumferential main groove in a tread part shoulder region. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 has a carcass layer 3 toroidally stretched over a left and right bead core and a circumferential main groove 52 extending in a tire circumferential direction. Viewed from the cross section of a tire meridian direction when a tire is mounted in a regular rim and the air pressure of 5[%] of a regular internal pressure is applied thereto and when brought under a no-load condition, a carcass layer 3 has a first swelling part 31 and second swelling part 32. Besides expanding the first swelling part 31 to the outside in a tire radial direction relative to a carcass line L, the maximum swelling part is within a range of 40[%]-80[%] of the tread half width W from a center crown CL. Besides expanding the second swelling part 32 to the inside in the tire radial direction, the maximum swelling part is within a range of 81[%]-100[%] of the tread half width W from a center crown CL.
