PURPOSE: A WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) automatic control apparatus and method thereof are provided to maintain radiated power from an antenna by controlling a gain of transmission output values by generating a control signal. CONSTITUTION: A coupler(24) couples an RF(Radio Frequency) signal on a transmission path. A transmission output detection unit(25) detects the transmission output value of the coupled RF signal. A transmission output control unit(26) stores the transmission output values in a buffer. The transmission output control unit detects the stored the average of the transmission output values. A comparator(27) generates a gain control signal according to routes by comparing a reference transmission output value and the average transmission output values.
