PURPOSE: An aerofoil is provided to promote use of CAD software for designing a tip edge structure of the aerofoil and to provide acoustic advantages by forming a tip edge. CONSTITUTION: An aerofoil comprises a main part, a root end part, and a tip section. The tip section comprises a tip edge, and a platform structure of the tip edge is placed on a first bezier curve composed of at least four control positions. The control positions are arranged on the periphery of a polygon drawing boundary of the tip section. The bezier curve position is arranged on a leading edge of the aerofoil in a tip station. The tip station is placed on a span directional position within 93.5%R to 95.9%R where first and second sides of the polygon meet together. The first side is located in the tip station extended vertically to a blade reference shaft extended toward a span of the main part of the aerofoil. |
