A recovery unit of a media dispenser is provided to recover media properly according to the property and to prevent a bundle of media from being exposed out of a recovery cassette by installing a shutter in the recovery cassette. A recovery unit(100) of a media dispenser is composed of a recovery cassette(102) having a medium recovery inlet(110a) formed in the front side of an upper surface and a bundle media recovery inlet(120a) formed in the middle of the upper surface; a separating plate(130) dividing the inside of the recovery cassette into a first front recovery part(110) and a second rear recovery part(120), wherein a lower end of the separating plate is installed at the bottom of the recovery cassette; a shutter moving in a longitudinal direction at the inner upper part of the recovery cassette, having a passing hole formed in the center to pass the recovered media to the first or second recovery part according to the movement of the separating plate, and moving the separating plate according to the longitudinal movement; and a moving unit moving the shutter in a longitudinal direction.
