<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tube bundle separation method and a tube bundle cutting device for a heat exchanger, capable of efficiently cutting and separating a tube bundle of a large heat exchanger in the vicinity of a tube plate. <P>SOLUTION: The tube bundle separation method for a heat exchanger is characterized in that part of a plurality of small tubes in the vicinity of a pipe plate is cut by a rotary cutting device from the outside at two spots in the longitudinal direction, a void part is formed at the spot where a cut small tube part separated by the cutting, the rotary cutting device is inserted into the void part to repeat cutoff operation, void part formation, and removal of a cut small tube part for remaining small tubes appeared at the void part, and every small tube connected to the tube plate is cut off to separate the tube bundle from the tube plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
