<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that corrects an image with a narrow luminance signal distribution due to fog, and provides an image with less color tone change and improved visibility. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device subtracts the offset level based on the black level from an input image signal (Vi) (1), multiplies the white correction gain (WGain) based on the black level (2), and multiplies the average luminance correction gain (APLGain) based on the color saturation correction level (SATnum), which is based on the average level of an input image signal (APLpre) and the average level of a correction image signal (Vwa). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
