<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift-by-wire system safely restorable to an ordinary control state, even if a vehicle power source is instantly disconnected, with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: When the vehicle power source is turned on and when a target range is a range except for "a P range and a D range" or unfixed, an SBW-ECU 13 maintains an actual range of that time without driving an actuator 30. In this state, the SBW-ECU 13 accepts only a switching request to the P range or the D range in the first shift range switching by a driver, switches a shift range by controlling rotation of the actuator 30 in response to the switching request, learns a first reference position by a first position learning means when the switching request is a switching request to the P range, and learns a second reference position by a second position learning means when the switching request is a switching request to the D range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
