CARBON-CERAMIC BRAKE DISC AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A carbon-ceramic brake disk and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent the erosion of silicon to pan-based carbon fiber through removing the crack on a coating film and the gap between a pan-based carbon fiber and a coating film. CONSTITUTION: A carbon-ceramic brake disk manufacturing method is as follows. A first coating film is formed on pan-based carbon fiber through coating the pan-based carbon fiber with phenol resin(S11). A second coating film is formed on the first coating film with polysilsesquioxane(RSiO3/2)(S12). The RSiO3/2 component of the second coating film is changed into SiOxCy(S13). A Mixture is produced with phenol resin(S14). The mixture is inserted a mold and pressed into a molded product(S15). The molded product is sintered(S16). The molded product is worked mechanically(S17). Silicon liquid is permeated into the worked molded product(S18). The worked molded product is polished(S19).
