<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable simple measurement of water pressure and the like by pressure applied to a touch panel without using an expensive water pressure sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A display unit 11 is provided on a surface of a housing unit 20 forming an exterior of a device, and includes a touch panel operation unit 113 that detects a press range, a display element unit 111 that is placed so as to be superimposed on the touch panel operation unit 113 and displays various information, and a protection panel 115 that covers the touch panel operation unit 113 and the display element unit 111 and bends by external pressure to press a predetermined range of the touch panel operation unit 113. Upon detection of a press in the predetermined range by a press on the touch panel operation unit 113 by the protection panel 115, a determination unit 101 determines pressure applied to the protection panel 115 according to the detected press range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
