PURPOSE: A riser pipe for a coke oven is provided to effectively prevent the overheating thereof by injecting steam to the inner wall of a refractory material. CONSTITUTION: A riser pipe for a coke oven comprises a main body(32), a refractory material, and a steam supply unit(50). The main body is installed in a carbonization chamber(10) and guides the gas produced in the carbonization chamber. The refractory material is installed on the inner wall of the main body. The steam supply unit injects steam to the inner wall of the refractory material. The steam supply unit comprises a guide pipe which is inserted into the refractory material through insertion holes formed in the main body and the refractory material, an insertion pipe which is inserted into the guide pipe and has an inlet and an outlet, and a plug which is installed in the outlet and has a plurality of injection holes. |
