<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pH measuring method and a measuring device using the method capable of simply and accurately calculating pH of a solution to be measured, in particular seawater. <P>SOLUTION: In the measuring method, by using electrodes of which a potential difference between a pair of electrodes comprising a glass electrode and a reference electrode is set to become 0 mV in a solution of pH 7.2 to 8.2, pH of a solution to be measured is measured on the basis of a voltage (potential difference) arising between the electrodes using seawater as the solution to be measured. The measuring device comprises a pair of electrodes (paired electrodes), a voltmeter, at least one means of measuring means selected from a group comprising salt content measuring means, carbonic acid measuring means, titration measuring means and absorbance measuring means, and processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
