<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal cap having a configuration so as not to drop off from an electric wire terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal cap pre-attached to an electric wire so as to move freely, is used for covering a round terminal that fastens a bolt and is crimped to the electric wire terminal after the round terminal is fastened to the counter component with a bolt or nut and moved. The terminal cap is made of a dip-formed resin-molding product having flexibility, including: a square cylinder part at a lower surface opening; a small-diameter cylindrical part serially connecting to a through hole disposed on one side face of the square cylinder part and having an opening at the tip; a plurality of annular ribs serving as a drop-off prevention stopper disposed at an interval in the inner surface of the small-diameter cylindrical part, the inner diameter of the annular rib being smaller than the outer diameter of the round electric contact part of the round terminal and larger than the outer diameter of the electric wire to be connected to the round terminal. The square cylinder part covers the electric contact part of the round terminal fastened with a bolt, and allow the small-diameter cylindrical part to pass through the electric contact part of the round terminal and the connected electric wire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
