The present invention discloses a method for displaying television program related information. The method includes: obtaining sequentially arranged multiple pieces of television program catalog information and corresponding television program brief introductions; generating an electronic program menu according to the television program catalog information and the corresponding television program brief introductions; displaying the electronic program menu on a display screen. The electronic program menu includes a piece of television program catalog information, a television program brief introduction related to the piece of television program catalog information, and at least one icon indicating that the last piece or the next piece of television program catalog information can be displayed on the electronic program menu according to a selection of a user. An electronic program menu and a processing device for generating the electronic program menu are also disclosed in the present invention. The electronic program menu can more visually display the television program related information.
