PURPOSE: A traveling-control method for distance extension is provided to minimize the fuel consumption, thereby maximizing mileage. CONSTITUTION: A traveling-control method for distance extension comprises: a step of detecting a fuel level detecting the fuel of level inside a fuel tank; a step of confirming the amount of current residual fuel by comparing standard value of fuel preset in a control part and residual fuel calculated by fuel level measured by the fuel detection step; a step of warning the lack of fuel by blinking a warning light in case the current residual fuel value is lower than the standard value; a step of fuel efficiency controlled traveling forcibly according to conduct fuel-efficiency controlled traveling mode by a driver.
