<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch antenna and a mounting method of the same, capable of preventing the damage of a feeding pin as much as possible and performing highly reliable surface mounting. <P>SOLUTION: A lower end part of a feeding pin 13 inserted to a through-hole 20 is made to face the inside of a recessed part 21 opened on a lower surface of a dielectric 11, solder 40 is attached to the part, and the lower end of the feeding pin 13 and the solder 40 is positioned flatly with the lower surface of a ground electrode 12 or above the lower surface. The feeding pin 13 is protected by surrounding walls to prevent the damage. Also, when fusing the solder 40, the fused solder is drooped while it is kept deposited to the feeding pin 13, so that the lower end part of the feeding pin 13 and a feeding pad 61 are electrically connected surely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
