PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce differences between a display area 'a' and a dummy display area 'b'.

SOLUTION: In a display area a, pixel electrodes 118 are arrayed like a matrix at predetermined pitch. Dummy pixel electrodes 131 are provided in a dummy display area b surrounding the display area a comprises the same layer with the pixel electrodes 118 and arrayed like an island at the same size and pitch as the pixel electrodes 118. The dummy pixel electrodes 131 are mutually interconnected through wiring of a lower layer than the pixel electrodes 118.
