<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably diagnose cross leakage without depending on catalyst activity even when a catalyst is deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel battery system of the present invention includes a fuel battery stack 10 in which a plurality of fuel battery cells 11 are stacked and power generation is performed by flowing anode gas and cathode gas separately with each other to be brought into contact with an anode electrode and a cathode electrode of each of the fuel battery cells 11, respectively. The fuel battery system has: stack voltage applying means C9 for applying a stack voltage on the fuel battery stack 10; and cross leakage diagnostic means C12 for diagnosing a cross leakage in each of the fuel battery cells 11 on the basis of a voltage of each of the fuel battery cells 11 after the application of the stack voltage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
