REMOVABLE LABEL

The invention relates to a label which is removable from surface of an item, wherein the label comprises an adhesive layer which is water absorbable and includes an acrylic block copolymer. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing such labels and to use of labels for labelling recyclable or reusable items. The invention further relates to a combination of an item and a label, wherein the label has been attached to a surface of the item and to a method for removing a label from a surface of an item.
