PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing method or the like of a drawing device that can certainly overcoat an image recording part.

SOLUTION: There is provided a drawing method of the drawing device 1 which carries out coating of the overcoat materials to cover an image recording part 51 on a workpiece W on which the recording ink material is coated by drawing operation to perform drawing of the workpiece W, by driving an inkjet head 18 to the workpiece W, while relatively scanning the inkjet head 18. Coating of the overcoat material is carried out so that layer thickness of the overcoat material which carries out so that layer thickness of the overcoat material to be coated to a boundary part of the image recording part 51 and the non-image recording part other than the image recording part 51 on the workpiece W may become thick meat as compared with the layer thickness of the other overcoat materials.
