<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unnecessary wave suppressor and an SLC changeover method, by which on-off changeover of the unnecessary wave suppression process is attainable at high speed and without preparing another device. <P>SOLUTION: The unnecessary wave suppressor comprises a first arithmetic cell, a second arithmetic cell, a comparator and a selector. The first arithmetic cell creates an SLC output by which the unnecessary wave is suppressed from a first reception signal received by a main antenna, based on a second reception signal received by a first auxiliary antenna. The second arithmetic cell calculates an SLC weight based on the second reception signal and a third reception signal received by a second auxiliary antenna. The comparator determines whether the SLC weight exceeds the threshold or not, and when it exceeds, a first changeover control signal is created, and a second changeover control signal is created when it does not exceed the threshold. The selector outputs the SLC output, out of the first reception signal or the SLC output, to a subsequent stage in accordance with the first changeover control signal, and outputs the first reception signal to the subsequent stage in accordance with the second changeover control signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
