<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terahertz detector which is capable of simultaneously detecting terahertz waves in a plurality of bands. <P>SOLUTION: A terahertz detection element 10 for detecting terahertz waves comprises: a substrate 11; first to third antenna units 13a-13c formed on the substrate 11 and having different frequencies in a terahertz band as respective resonant frequencies; and first to third STJ (Superconducting Tunnel Junction) elements 15a-15c formed on the substrate 11 and each disposed at the center of each of the first to third antenna units 13a-13c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
