<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a zoom lens system which is compact and has an excellent optical performance while using, for example, a large imaging element of APS size in the structure of three group lens being negative, positive, and negative and an electronic imaging apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A zoom lens system is constituted of a first lens group having a negative refractive power, a second lens group having a positive refractive power, and a third lens group having a negative refractive power in order from an object side. In the zoom lens system in which a lens group interval between the first lens group and the second lens group is reduced at the time of varying from a short focal distance end to a long focal distance end, the third lens group is constituted by three lenses of a negative lens whose concave face is oriented on the image side, a positive lens whose convex face is oriented on the image side, and a negative lens whose convex face is oriented on the image side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
