<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a car side plate 20 constituting an elevator whose upper part close to a lighting device becomes bright but whose lower part far away from the lighting device becomes dark. <P>SOLUTION: The car side plate 20 includes a plurality of reflectors 22 that reflect light from the lighting device. With the reflectors 22, the areas of the reflectors 22 are reduced so that the upper part of the car side plate 20 close to the lighting device may have a small amount of light reflection, and the areas of the reflectors 22 are increased so that the lower part of the car side plate 20 far away from the lighting device may have a large amount of light reflection.
