<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize pressure and a contact angle of a print head to a printing surface during printing and to secure an excellent printing state. <P>SOLUTION: The disk drive device comprises: a recording and reproducing unit 7 for recording or reproducing information signals in a disk-shaped recording medium 100 having a printing surface 102; and a printing unit 13 for performing printing on the printing surface of the disk-shaped recording medium. The printing unit includes: a print head 65 which is pressed to the printing surface during printing on the printing surface of the disk-shaped recording medium; a head feed part 43 to which the print head is attached and which is moved along the printing surface of the disk-shaped recording medium; and guide shafts 31, 32 for guiding the head feed part when the head feed part moves. When the print head is pressed to the printing surface when printing is performed on the printing surface, the disk-shaped recording medium is bent and the printing surface is inclined.
