A display processing method of the present invention for displaying a shape of an object including a trimmed surface generated on the basis of a base curved surface includes: a step for triangulating the base curved surface; a step for generating a loop polygon for a loop which includes an outer loop which defines a contour of the trimmed surface and an inner loop provided within the outer loop corresponding to the shape of an object; a step for identifying a sight-line single-valued area which is an area upon the base curved surface which, on the basis of the positional relationship between the point-of-view and the base curved surface, satisfies the condition that the mapping to the projection plane is bijective, and includes a plurality of polygons; a step which, for each sight-line single-valued area, generates mask data which is data for each pixel which controls whether or not display is to be performed, on the basis of the sight-line single-valued area and the loop polygon; a step for generating image data upon the projection plane for each of the triangles; and a step for implementing rendering processing on the basis of the mask data and the image data. |
