<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that corrects image data based on properly selected two pieces of face information, which are added to the image data and detected from the image data, as well as an image processing method. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device carries out face recognition processing for recognizing a face of a person from image data to detect printer face information, and obtains camera face information that is added to the image data.
