<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a method and a program for analyzing cartilage by using ultrasonic waves, which can provide analysis data for quantitatively evaluating the accurate state of the cartilage. <P>SOLUTION: An oscillator 11 transmits a pulse burst signal to a plurality of points within an attention area of a person's knee, and an echo signal reflected from the cartilage is received by an echo signal receiving section 12. An echo signal analyzing section 13 acquires amplitude values of the received echo signals, and calculates an average value and a standard deviation of the acquired amplitude values. Additionally, an analysis data generating part 132 of the echo signal analyzing section 13 calculates the variation coefficient (CV) of the attention area from the calculated average value and standard deviation of the amplitude values. The analysis data generating part 132 generates the analysis data for the cartilage on the basis of the calculated variation coefficient (CV). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
