PURPOSE: An apparatus for transferring coils is provided to simplify maintenance and repair by preventing damage or deformation of a coil edge part when wound coil is lifted to transfer. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for transferring coils comprises a supporting frame(100), a pair of lift arms(200), and a pair of contacting parts(300). The supporting frame is extended at a predetermined length. The lift arms are installed in the supporting frame to be moved forward and backward in a longitudinal direction of the supporting frame. The lower end of the lift arms is inwardly bent to be inserted into an inner winding part of a coil so that the coil can be gripped. The contacting parts are respectively arranged in the inner side of the lift arms, and a part contacting with the gripped coil can be moved upward and downward.
