<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unmanned carrier and a travel controller for the unmanned carrier capable of stably traveling and handling cargo without correcting displacement of a travel guide and a station. <P>SOLUTION: A travel controller 2 according to the present invention is for an unmanned carrier that travels while detecting a travel guide laid along a travel path divided into plural sections. The travel controller 2 is provided with guide sensors 3a and 3b that output sensor output signals responsive to relative positions to the travel guide, section specifying means 4a, 4b, and 10 that specify a current section on which the unmanned carrier is currently traveling, a storage unit 11 in which sensor output target values for the respective sections are stored beforehand, a steering control unit 12 that acquires the sensor output target value corresponding to the current section by referencing to the storage unit 11 and changes a steering direction such that difference between the values of the sensor output signal from the guide sensors 3a and 3b and the sensor output target value becomes minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
