<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable transmission device configured to always maintain and guarantee an appropriate transmission body contact diameter and torque in two transmission wheels using an external command, in order to solve the following problem: when a proper transmission body contact diameter, namely, speed ratio is determined in one of the two transmission wheels, the appropriate contact diameter cannot be always maintained in the other wheel. <P>SOLUTION: When a speed ratio and torque in two wheels are individually operated using an external command, the torque and transmission body contact diameter are always synchronously determined, respectively, by supplying to the other wheel both elements of a command for torque using an elastic force obtained through series pressurization of an elastic device and a command for positioning a transmission wheel using the elastic force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
